PHYSICAL QUANTITIES

 PHYSICAL QUANTITIES

                Every material object has certain characteristics. These are to measured to specify them. For Instance, if we want to specify the characteristics of bricks, we will have to measure its length, width, height and mass. Such characteristics are called physical Quantities.

All Physical quantities are divided into two groups. 

 

(i)                  Fundamental Physical Quantities.

(ii)                Derived Physical Quantities.
